Winston Salem is a large city located in and around the county seat of Wilson County, North Carolina. With a 2009 estimated population of 248,735 it is second in population to the City of Raleigh and is second only to Charlotte as the largest city in Forsyth County. Winston Salem has an International Airport and it serves as the hub of all transportation within the area.
